ZIARAH IHYA RAMADHAN 2024 – Chapter 3

In the spirit of Ramadhan, Education Malaysia Washington DC and Malaysian Students Association @Penn State – Harrisburg, have co-hosted an iftar with Malaysian students at the Penn State Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on March 29th, 2024 (Friday).
The iftar, which is also a collaboration with Penn State – Harrisburg, is open to all Malaysian students (muslim and non-muslim). We were honored with the attendance of Dr. Todd Clark, Senior Director, Student Services, Student Affairs of Penn State University – Harrisburg and Mr. Amir Farid Abu Hassan, Consul General of the Consulate General of Malaysia, New York.
During the iftar, participants recited the Quran, listened to the ‘tazkirah’, and performed the tarawih. The Consulate General of Malaysia, New York and PDRM also had a short briefing session addressing any issue that the students might be facing while studying here in the U.S.

We would like to express our gratitude to committees and Malaysian students at Penn State University – Harrisburg for their hospitality and friendship during our short stay. It was truly such a pleasure to be able to get to know them.
Thank you and till we meet again!
