Education Malaysia Washington DC had the honor to be part of the Embassy Adoption Program (EAP) organized by Embassy of Malaysia Washington DC on Wednesday, March 13 2024 to visit Orangutans at Smithsonian National Zoological Park.
The program is a partnership program of DC Public Schools and Washington Performing Arts and was established in 1974. The program provides a unique opportunity for DC Public Schools students to expand their global awareness through direct interactions with diplomats from around the world.

It was a refreshing experience to meet and greet the local middle schoolers who were enthusiastic and eager to learn more about Orangutans and Malaysia.
