In the spirit of Ramadhan, Education Malaysia Washington DC and Malaysian Student Association at the University of Washington have co-hosted an iftar with Malaysian students at the University of Washington, Seattle on March 16th, 2024 (Saturday).
The iftar, which is also a collaboration with JPA, MARA, and PDRM, is open to all Malaysian students (muslim and non-muslim). During the iftar, participants recited the Quran, listened to the ‘tazkirah’, and performed the tarawih. The sponsors and PDRM also had a short briefing session addressing any issue that the students might be facing while studying here in the U.S.
We would like to express our gratitude to MSA committees and Malaysian students at the University of Washington, Seattle for their hospitality and friendship during our short stay. It was truly such a pleasure to be able to get to know them.
