Education Malaysia Washington D.C, formerly known as Malaysian Students Department (MSD), Washington, DC, was established in 1972, under the patronage of the Embassy of Malaysia. Two other offices were later set up in Los Angeles and Chicago in 1982.
Previously, the department’s core responsibility was the welfare and academic matters of Malaysian students in 26 states in the Eastern Region of the United States.
