In the spirit of Ramadhan, Education Malaysia Washington DC and Malaysian Students Association – Minnesota have co-hosted an iftar with Malaysian students at the University of Minnesota-Twin City, on March 21st, 2025 (Friday).
The iftar, which is also a collaboration with JPA, MARA, and PDRM, is open to all Malaysian students (muslim and non-muslim). During the iftar, participants recited the Quran, listened to the ‘tazkirah’, and performed the tarawih. EMW, along with JPA, MARA, and PDRM conducted a short briefing session addressing any issue that the students might be facing while studying here in the U.S.
We would like to express our gratitude to Shafiq (President of MSA – Minnesota) and his team for their hospitality and friendship during our short stay. It was a pleasure to be able to celebrate iftar with the Malaysian community there.
