As part of Talent Corp’s engagement with Malaysian students abroad, we have an array of programs specially for you during your upcoming summer holidays in Malaysia! Below are snippets of the program:
- Industry Inside – Engineering
What? This is a 3 days 2 night program and it will consist of sessions with approximately 4 companies within the engineering sector. Do expect a wholesome fun as we bring you on walking lab tours, networking sessions with corporate leaders and you also get to make new friends during the trip!
Who ? Penultimate/Final year Malaysia students who are currently pursuing a degree/ major in the engineering sector internationally.
When? The program is expected to be conducted over a 3 day span during the week of Aug 19.
Where? Klang Valley, Penang & Perak
Industry Inside- FMCG
What? This is a 3 days 2 night program and it will consist of fun and interactive sessions which includes some personal time with the corporate leaders of these renowned FMCG companies and also an overview of the manufacturing process. Who knows, you might even score some free Nescafe or Milo sachets!
Who? Penultimate/final year Malaysian students who are currently pursuing any degree abroad.
When? The program is expected to be conducted over a 3 day span during the week of Aug 19
Where? Klang Valley
- Breakfast with CEO Series
What? We are intending to host a series of breakfast sessions with influential corporate leaders for a breakfast session. Hint- We are currently in discussion with the man behind the mega hit TV series- The Apprentice Asia! This would be an excellent opportunity for you to meet with with these CEOs and gain insights and wisdoms from these successful corporate leaders!
Who? All Malaysian students studying abroad are encouraged to apply! However, since seats are limited to only about 10-12 per session, we would pre-screen the participants to ensure that these CEOs meet the crème of the crop.
When? 5 day span during the week of 9th September 2013
Where? Klang Valley/ Premises of the organization
- Accounting, Finance and Banking Bootcamp
What? Fret not as this doesn’t involve doing 100 crunches or lunges! This program is expected to be conducted over 4 days during the week of 26 August 2013 and is intended to be on a daily-theme basis. First day would be leaning towards Accounting/Consulting. Second day would be targeted towards Shared Services and the third day would be an insight into the Banking industry. The fourth day is intended to run as the ‘bootcamp’ element, where participants are given an opportunity to check how prepared they are for the job market.

- Insight into A Career in Banking – A Day with CIMB
What? This event would allow you to explore in further detail on the job opportunities available with CIMB Group. You would also be given the opportunity to understand the different banking segments within CIMB , networking with corporate leaders within the organization and an exclusive Q & A session with Dato’ Sri Nazir Razak , CEO of CIMB Group.
Who? Penultimate/final year Malaysian students who are currently pursuing degree/major in the accounting/finance/banking/law sector abroad.
