About the Waiver/Scholarship
Our waivers will be awarded on a “first-come first-served” basis to undergraduate and graduate students who are advised by EducationUSA advisors via the attached form and are successfully admitted to Emporia State University. The partial tuition waiver applies to any discipline offered at Emporia State University; although some exceptions apply in programs leading toward a Kansas teaching certification.
Below is an illustration based on current 2012-2013 tuition and fee structure.
Undergraduate:
- waiver of 60 %, calculated based on out-of-state tuition.
- Before receiving the waiver, out-of-state tuition is $7,578 per semester + campus fees (app. $585). After receiving the waiver, the student will pay app. $3,077 + campus fees (app. $585) per semester.
Graduate:
- Waiver of 50%, calculated based on 12 credits of out-of-state tuition.
- Before receiving the waiver, out of state graduate tuition is $7,716 + campus fees (app. $840). After receiving the wavier, the students will pay app. $3,732 + campus fee (app. $840) per semester.
The partial tuition waiver will be available throughout all application cycles in the 2013-2014 year and is good for the duration of the students studies. If you want an excellent and affordable degree, you will have to complete an application, submit your supporting documents, and have the attached form completed and sent by you or their respective EducationUSA advisor.
