As the new Director for Education Malaysia office, I like to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who have been very helpful and supportive in assisting this office prior to my designation.
I hope we will maintain the resilient relationship that has been achieved and strongly believe that we will continue the respectable affiliation in future to reach our goal in developing Malaysia as a global Higher Education Hub by 2025. We will be venturing into stronger collaborations, revamp ongoing networking and foster new partnerships as to achieve our vision and mission.
Apart from safeguarding the Malaysian students in USA, one other important area Education Malaysia is in focus includes the mobility program (study abroad program) involving the enrolment of students from USA into Malaysia higher education institutions through short, medium and long term educational programs in public or private universities. I truly hope many more American students start shifting the interest towards our programs in Malaysia and optimize this opportunity in getting to know more about our country, such as the diversified culture, harmonize inter-racial society, rich in tropical greeneries, variety of different foods to be tasted, enjoying the village living style, besides relishing the educational programs.
Undertaking this golden opportunity, I want to invite all young enthusiast and adventurous Americans to come and enjoy the educational programs that we have for you in Malaysia. I am also conveying this special message to all Malaysian students studying in the USA, to promote, thus encourage all your American friends to join the study abroad programs in Malaysia.
