Chantelle Lim graduated from the University of Rochester last month, earning her Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Electrical Engineering. She was awarded the Charles L. Newton Prize and the Tau Beta Pi Prize by the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences during commencement weekend.
In addition, Chantelle also received the Biomedical Engineering Faculty Award for Undergraduate Service for her contribution to the BMES Student Chapter and the BME Program at the University of Rochester.
Last November, Chantelle was one of the recipients of the Perdana Scholar Awards 2018 for Academic Excellence, an education achievement recognition from the Malaysia Ministry of Education to Malaysian students in the United States of America.
She was also recently awarded a $10,000 graduate fellowship from Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society.
Chantelle will be pursuing her studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) research.
